Institute and center and programs have moved to Wright Street location

Illinois Global Institue is now calling Coble Hall home! The Institute and nine of the area and global studies centers and thematic programs are moving into the former Graduate College building on Wright Street just in time for the start of the 2021 fall semester. We look forward to showing off our new home in the near future. We ask all visitors to follow the university's COVID-19 protocols that are currently in effect.

Units that have moved into Coble Hall with IGI are Center for African Studies, Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies, Center for Global Studies, Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, European Union Center, Lemann Center for Brazilian Studies, Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies; and Women and Gender in Global Perspectives. The Program in Arms Control & Domestic & International Security will continue to be in the Armory for the 2021-2022 academic year.
