Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships support both undergraduate and graduate students in the study of modern foreign languages in combination with area studies, international studies, or international or area aspects of professional studies.
Funding for these fellowships is provided by the U.S. Department of Education’s Title VI Program. The U.S. Department of Education is not currently running the FLAS program.
