Biography
My role has been to teach chemistry to pre-nursing students chemistry majors, and chemical engineers. My aim is to incorporate social justice into the curriculum. Within the pre-nursing curriculum, the focus is cultural competence and health equity. Within the analytical curriculum the focus is using a system thinking approach to consider relationships between human and chemicial systems, and to build a sense of community and agency.
