Biography
I examine comparative politics in developing countries, especially those on the African continent. My research has explored state capture, election related violence, and authoritarian conditions particularly in Southern Africa. On the other hand, despite the many political challenges that South Africa faces, its constitution offers a model for other countries to follow.
