Biography
Andrea L. Miller, Ph.D., J.D., is a Senior Court Research Associate at the National Center for State Courts and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She holds a Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Minnesota and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. Dr. Miller’s research focuses on the social-psychological foundations of prejudice, discrimination, and inequity, particularly as these processes interact with the law. Her research examines how to redesign legal institutions, procedures, and practices in ways that leverage social cognition to promote equity under the law and in society.
