STEPHANIE T. BURNS, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, has published in the areas of trauma and stress responses, guilt and shame responses, mental health assessment, ethical decision making, adult career development, counseling outcomes, program evaluation, and supervision. She was co-chair of the CSI Professional Advocacy Committee for six years. From 2017 through 2021 her article "Education Level, Occupational Classification, and Perceptions of Differences for Blacks in the US" was one of JEC’s top 20 downloaded articles. From 2018 through 2021 her article "Impact of Ethical Information Resources on Independently Licensed Counselors" was one of CV’s top 20 downloaded articles.
