Biography

I am a professor of law and a former civil rights attorney.  I founded the Fair Housing Legal Support Center at the UIC Law School.  I also head our Czech/Slovak Legal Exchange program.  I have been teaching restorative justice with Judge Sheila Murphy for the past 10 years.  Our law students do internships in the schools and the Union League Boys and Girls Clubs in Chicago.  I lecture on restorative justice among other things and I am the co-author of two books on restorative justice as well as several articles.
