Dr. Lauren Balasco is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey, USA. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on human rights, comparative politics, democratization, and peace processes. Lauren’s research on transitional justice and human rights has been published in the Canadian Journal of Development Studies / Revue canadienne d'études du développement, Representation, International Journal of Transitional Justice, Conflict, Security and Development, the International Journal of Human Rights, and the Journal of Human Rights. In 2017, Lauren received the Emerging Scholar Award from the Western Social Science Association.
